Q. What are the days and hours the museum is opened?

A. Our permanent museum location has not yet opened. Our rotating pop up exhibits are in the lobby of the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, 1401 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ, and are viewable for free at all hours.

Q. Do I have to where a mask and self-distance?

A. Masks are advised but not mandatory, especially for those vaccinated.

Q. Does the museum have a coatroom?

A. Unfortunately, the museum does not have a coatroom to check items on site. Please plan accordingly and leave heavy backpacks and other large items in your car or at home.

A. Yes. The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel is pet friendly..

Q. Does the museum have a gift shop?

A. There is no exhibit gift shop at our pop-up exhibit. Our future permanent museum location will have a gift shop where Asbury Park books and memorabilia can be purchased.

Q. Is the Museum wheelchair accessible?

A. Yes. Our rotating pop up in the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel and our future permanent museum building are wheelchair accessible. There are a limited number of handicapped parking spots outside on the street..

Q. Is there food and drink available at the pop-up exhibit?

A. Yes. Food and drink are sold in the pizza restaurant and bar/lounge on the same floor as the exhibit..

Q. Is photography and videography permitted?

A. Yes. Photography and videography are allowed in the Museum so long as the images are taken using existing light only (no flash) and are for personal, noncommercial use. We encourage our visitors to take photos and even post them on social media. However, the copyright owners of some of our exhibit photos may not allow photo copying. These will be clearly labeled as NO PHOTOS ALLOWED.
