Our newest rotating exhibit will run until the end of December, 2024. It covers the history of Asbury Park 200 years before the founding of our resort city in 1871. The main segments of the exhibit are (1) The Shore’s Original Caretakers (2) The Europeans Arrive (3) Shifting Populations & Land Ownership (4) The First Asbury Area Families and (5) The Founding of Asbury Park. As with our prior pop-up exhibits, this one will be open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and is free to visit.
