Volunteer

Have you ever thought about volunteering your time to help out at a museum? We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out in many different capacities. Are you a people person? If so, you might be interested in becoming one of our docents and lead guided tours of the exhibit. But we also need people to help with exhibit research, design and installation, working at the admissions desk and gift shop and helping out at special events. Not only will you be part of our museum team but you’ll be giving back to the Asbury Park community. Contact us for more details.

Donate Money

Our Museum admissions only cover a small percentage of the costs to build and maintain a professional exhibit. Please consider a tax deductible gift, large or small, to keep our Museum going. The “Learn More” link below will take you to a page that explain why we need funding. Or, you can click the “Donate” button to go directly to our GoFundMe Page. Thank you so much for your help.

Donate Artifacts

Do you have important vintage artifacts, photographs or memorabilia that relate to the history of Asbury Park? Rather than see them slowly deteriorate or be discarded, wouldn’t it be better if they were properly cared for and displayed for future generations to see? While due to space reasons we can only accept select pieces, we will review all potential donated items on a monthly basis. Please click the button below and fill out the form and attach a photograph to have your item considered.

Become a Sponsor

The Asbury Park Museum actively seeks corporate sponsors to cover operating and exhibition expenses. Our corporate sponsors not only increase their branding power among Museum visitors from New Jersey and around the world but more importantly, they become a part of our on-going efforts to preserve Asbury Park’s history and relate it to current times.
